Resolving corrective actions

Close the loop on failed inspections.

  2. Why this matters

A failed inspection is not just a record — it opens a corrective action and flags the unit "not safe to use". The Corrective actions tab on the Inspections page is the queue of everything in that state.

Closing the loop#

  1. Open the corrective action to see what failed and the inspector's notes.
  2. Fix the real problem — replace the expired pads, service the unit, restock the cabinet.
  3. Record the resolution on the corrective action, or simply record a fresh passing inspection of the unit.
  4. The not-safe flag clears on the next pass, and related alerts resolve themselves.

Why this matters#

Auditors and medical directors are rarely upset by a failure — they are upset by a failure without a documented fix. The corrective-action trail is your proof that problems get found and get fixed.

Tip: The dashboard's needs-attention panel includes open corrective actions, so they stay visible until closed.
