The compliance calendar in AED Log: a month of inspection due dates and a registration expiration, filterable by type and location

How the compliance calendar works

The calendar fills itself from the dates already in AED Log. Open the month view to see what's coming, filter it, click any event to deal with it, or subscribe to your own feed.

Every date, on one month view

Inspection due dates and every expiration appear on the calendar as soon as they exist in AED Log. Nothing is entered twice.

Filter by type and location

Events are color-coded by type, and filters narrow the view to one building or one kind of deadline. Every role can see the calendar.

Click through to the record

Each event links to its record, so you can record the inspection, replace the pads or renew the document straight from the calendar.

Subscribe in your own calendar app

Each user gets a personal iCal feed, with every event or only the types they choose. It brings AED inspection reminders into Outlook, Google Calendar or Apple Calendar, and it only shows locations that person can access.

What appears on the calendar

Every dated obligation in your AED program appears on the calendar, for AEDs and for every other type of equipment you track.

Inspection due dates for every unit

AED pad and battery expirations

Supply expirations, such as Narcan doses and first aid items

Equipment dates: hydrostatic tests, service, registration, insurance and warranty

CPR, AED and first aid certification expirations

Document expirations, such as a medical direction letter

If a feed link is ever shared by mistake, regenerate it: the old link stops working at once.

Compliance calendar FAQ

What appears on the compliance calendar?

Inspection due dates; pad, battery and supply expirations; equipment dates such as hydrostatic tests and registrations; and certification and document expirations. Each event is color-coded by type and links to its record.

Can I see AED deadlines in Outlook or Google Calendar?

Yes. Each user gets a personal iCal feed, with every event or only the types they choose, that Outlook, Google Calendar and Apple Calendar can subscribe to. The feed only includes locations that person can access.

What if a calendar feed link is shared by mistake?

Regenerate the feed in AED Log. The old link stops working right away, and you subscribe again with the new one.
