Printing QR labels for equipment

Print single or bulk QR labels that link straight to each unit.

Every piece of equipment has a printable QR label. Scanning it opens that unit's page — the fastest way for someone standing in front of a device to reach its record, its inspection checklist, and its history.

Printing#

  • One unit — use the label option on the equipment row's menu.
  • Many units — use bulk label printing from the Equipment page to generate a sheet for a whole site in one go, ideal when first labeling everything.

Using them well#

  • Stick the label on or beside the unit's cabinet, where an inspector will naturally see it.
  • An inspector scans, signs in, and lands on the unit — no searching, no wrong-unit mistakes.
  • Labels never bypass security: whoever scans still signs in as themselves and sees only what their role and locations allow.

Tip: Reprint labels after renaming a unit — the QR code still works, but the printed name should match what people see in the portal.
