Multi-Location AED Program Management for Enterprises and Franchises
To manage AEDs across multiple locations, you need one record for every device, one owner for the program and a way to see every site at once. AED Log gives enterprises and franchises one dashboard, per-site access and a needs-attention list that puts the next problem first.

Do you need an AED at every location?
It depends on each site's state and building type, so the answer can differ from one location to the next. The AED law data in AED Log lists 41 states that require AEDs at specified locations, and the duties that come with an AED differ by state too.
Why the rules differ by site
A company with sites in several states lives under several AED laws. The same data lists 27 states that require notifying agencies about AEDs, 23 that require specified people to be trained and 9 that require physician medical direction. AED laws by state sets out what each one asks for.
Why most organizations equip every site
Even where no law requires one, a single standard is easier to run than site-by-site exceptions: every location gets an AED, a responsible person and the same monthly check. OSHA's AED guidance suggests placing AEDs so they can be used within 3 to 5 minutes, which in practice means at least one at every site.
What a multi-location AED program includes
Past a handful of sites, AED management stops being a maintenance problem and becomes a records problem: one source of truth, clear responsibility at each site and reminders that don't depend on one person.
One record per AED: site, placement, serial number, model and part dates
A responsible role at each site, not just one named person
Reminders tied to real expiration dates, not to memory
Inspection records with the date, the person and the result
Records kept centrally, so they survive staff changes
Each site's state AED law, so you know what applies where
Multi-site programs tend to fail the same four ways: the spreadsheet stops matching reality, reminders go to people who have left, records sit in binders at each site, and state-specific rules get missed. Each feeds the next, and the gaps usually surface at an audit, or after a rescue.
How AED Log handles many sites at once
Every location, AED, part and responder lives in one account, and the dashboard shows what needs attention across all of them.
One dashboard for every site
Equipment totals, the compliance rate, overdue inspections, expirations within 90 days and open alerts, with a needs-attention list that links straight to each fix.
Staggered expirations, handled
AEDs bought over several years have pads, batteries and certifications that expire in different months. Each carries its own date, and the expiration forecast groups them by month as a replacement budget.
Inspections at every site
Site staff scan the AED's QR label and record the monthly check on a phone. Each record is dated and tied to the person who did it.
Flat tier pricing
Locations are unlimited. You pay one price for the AEDs in your tier, for example $3,000 a year for 41 to 60 AEDs, however many sites they're spread across. See every tier.
Per-site access, alert routing and site contacts
Each user sees only the sites they're responsible for, and alerts go to the people at that site, not to everyone.
Per-site access
Limit any user to specific locations, and their dashboard, lists, calendar, alerts and reports follow. At least one user always keeps access to every site.
Alert routing
Send each alert to everyone who can see the site, or only to the responsible people: the AED's assignee and the site contact, with a fallback when neither is set.
Site contacts
Name a responsible person for each site, plus an on-site contact with a phone number and email, so a failed check or a missing AED reaches someone who can fix it.
Reports filtered by site
Every report filters by location and date and downloads as a CSV or a branded PDF, so each site manager can answer for their own sites. Team roles and location access
