Many jurisdictions require physician oversight — medical direction — for an AED program. You add it on the Billing page.

How it works#

  • Licenses are annual, and each license covers one AED.
  • Buy the quantity you need; assign each license to a specific unit at purchase, or leave licenses in your pool and assign them later.
  • AED Log handles the physician paperwork after purchase; covered units show a medical direction badge on their equipment page.

Buying and assigning#

  1. In the Billing page's Medical Direction section, choose the quantity — the taxed quote shows before you pay.
  2. Pick which AEDs to cover now (optional — the rest stay in your pool).
  3. Pay; assignments activate and AED Log is notified to begin fulfillment.

Tip: Buying one license per active AED in one purchase keeps every unit's coverage renewing on the same date — one renewal to remember instead of many.
