CPR and AED Certification Tracking for Your Responders

AED Log is certification tracking software for the people who respond with your AEDs. Record each responder's CPR, AED and first aid certifications, and AED Log warns you before any of them expire, so every site keeps trained people on hand.

How certification tracking works

Add your responders, record their certifications from the built-in catalog, and AED Log fills in each expiration date and warns you before it arrives. AED Log co-founder Kyle Nowack is an American Red Cross BLS Instructor Trainer.

Add responders, not logins

Responders are the trained people at each site. They don't need an account, though a responder can be linked to a user who signs in. Each has a primary location and contact details that only permitted users can see.

Pick certifications from the catalog

Choose from 185 certifications from 9 issuing organizations, including the American Red Cross, the American Heart Association, ASHI, Medic First Aid and the National Safety Council. The expiration date fills in from the certification's usual validity, and anything else can be added as Other.

Keep a copy of every card

Upload the certificate or card to each record. Files are stored privately, and an old certification can be archived when a new one replaces it.

Get warned before a card expires

Expiring certifications raise alerts and appear on the compliance calendar. The Certifications tab filters every responder's cards by type, by status or by expiring soon.

CPR and AED certification tracking FAQ

Which certifications can AED Log track?

Choose from 185 certifications from 9 issuing organizations, including the American Red Cross, the American Heart Association, ASHI and the National Safety Council. Anything else can be added as Other, with its own expiration date.

Do responders need their own login?

No. Responders are records of trained people, not user accounts, so you can track a whole roster without giving everyone a login. A responder can be linked to a user who also signs in.

How am I warned before a certification expires?

Each certification's expiration date feeds the alerts and the compliance calendar, with the same expiring-soon warning as equipment. Certificate copies can be uploaded and are kept private.
