Pricing & plans

AED Log is priced by tier: one flat price covers every AED in your tier, and add-ons are priced per unit per year on top. Billing and renewals are covered in our terms of service.

How is AED Log priced?

AED Log uses flat tiers: one price covers every AED in your tier, from $114 a year for one AED to $12,120 for up to 999 AEDs. Every plan includes unlimited users and locations. Medical direction and other equipment types are priced per unit per year, on top of the tier. See pricing.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every new account starts with a 45-day free trial, with no credit card. It includes every feature and equipment type; medical direction can be added once you choose a plan. After that, plans start at $114 a year for one AED ($9.50 a month).

Can I pay monthly?

Yes. Every tier can be paid monthly or annually. The monthly price is the annual price divided by 12, for example $9.50 a month for one AED.

Is there a limit on users or locations?

No. Every AED Log plan includes unlimited users and unlimited locations. You pay for the number of AEDs in your tier, plus any add-ons you choose.

What counts as an AED for pricing?

Each active AED uses one license in your tier. Other equipment types, such as fire extinguishers, are add-ons priced per unit per year, and medical direction is priced per AED per year.

What happens if I add an AED past my tier?

Add licenses from the billing page and you move up a tier, paying only the prorated difference for the rest of your term. Lowering your count takes effect at renewal.

Do add-ons renew with my plan?

Add-ons are their own annual subscriptions, so each renews a year after you buy it, against your saved payment method. Buying medical direction for all your AEDs at once keeps them on one renewal date.

How much does AED medical direction cost?

Medical direction is an optional add-on at $65 per AED per year, on top of your plan price.

Do you charge sales tax?

Where sales tax applies, it is shown on your quote before you pay and on your invoice. If your organization is tax-exempt, contact us before you buy.

Getting started

You create an account, pay for the plan that fits and add your locations and AEDs, or send us your list to import.

How do I get started with AED Log?

Start your free trial: 45 days, no credit card. Add your locations and AEDs, invite your team and choose who gets alerts. When you’re ready, choose the plan for the number of AEDs you have and pay online. Plans start at $114 a year.

Can you import my existing AED list?

Yes. Send us your list in our CSV templates and our team imports your locations, AEDs and responders for you. There is no self-serve bulk import.

Do I need AED program management software if I only have one AED?

One AED still needs regular inspections, pads and a battery that expire, and trained responders. AED Log covers a single AED for $114 a year ($9.50 a month), with a reminder before each inspection and expiration.

Do inspectors need to install an app?

No. AED Log runs in the web browser on any phone, tablet or computer, so there is nothing to install. Inspectors sign in, scan the unit's QR label or pick it from the list, and answer the checklist.

How do I get help with AED Log?

Search the docs, email info@aedlog.com or call (855) 248-2464. We answer 8am to 8pm Central Time, 7 days a week.

Features

AED Log tracks AED inspections, pads and batteries, certifications, incidents and documents, and alerts the right people before anything lapses.

What is AED program management software?

AED program management software keeps AEDs rescue-ready and inspection-ready. It records inspections, tracks pad, battery and certification expirations, logs incidents and stores documents, then alerts the right people before anything lapses.

Does AED Log work with any AED brand?

Yes. The built-in catalog covers 27 models from ZOLL, Philips, HeartSine, Physio-Control, Cardiac Science, Defibtech, Avive and Welch Allyn, with 78 pads, batteries and Pad-Paks. Any other AED can be added by typing its brand and model.

How does AED compliance tracking with automated reminders work?

AED Log checks every inspection due date and expiration every 15 minutes. When something is due, expiring or failed, it raises an alert and reminds the responsible people by email or chat. Once the problem is fixed, the alert resolves itself.

Does AED Log tell me about AED recalls?

Yes, for AEDs. FDA device recalls are checked weekly, matched to your units and reviewed by a person before a notice appears on the affected AED. Recalls of drugs such as Narcan or epinephrine, and of oxygen, are not covered.

Do I need an AED plan to track other equipment?

Yes. Every account starts with an AED plan, and AEDs are always included. Fire extinguishers, eyewash stations and the other types are optional add-ons on top of it.

Can I see AED deadlines in Outlook or Google Calendar?

Yes. Each user gets a personal iCal feed, with every event or only the types they choose, that Outlook, Google Calendar and Apple Calendar can subscribe to. The feed only includes locations that person can access.

What reports does AED Log include?

Six: Equipment and AED Inventory, Inspection History, Expiration Forecast, Incident Log, Certification Status and Audit Trail. Each can be filtered by location and date and downloaded as a CSV or a PDF.

What happens when someone scans an AED's QR code?

The label opens that unit's page on your portal. The person signs in if they aren't already, and sees the unit only if they have access to its location. From there they can start an inspection.

Resellers

Resellers run AED Log under their own brand and domain, set their own prices and bill through their own Stripe account.

Will my customers see the AED Log name?

No. Your customers see your portal name, logo, colors, domain and support details on every screen, email, PDF, QR label and chat post. The AED Log name never appears to them.

Can I set my own prices?

Yes. Price AEDs per unit or in tiers, monthly, annual or both, at or above the platform minimum. You also price medical direction and equipment add-ons, in US dollars, Canadian dollars or Mexican pesos.

How do resellers get paid?

Through your own Stripe account. Connect Stripe and your customers' payments go straight to you, with invoices, failed-payment handling and reconciliation built in. If you bill outside AED Log, set an AED limit per customer instead.

Can the customer portal run on my own domain?

Yes. Add one CNAME record and the portal runs on your hostname, such as portal.yourcompany.com, with SSL issued and renewed automatically. Every reseller also gets a default portal address to start with.

What does the reseller program cost?

Reseller pricing isn’t published. It’s based on volume: the number of AEDs you manage across your customers. Book a demo and we’ll quote it for your customer base.

Security

Accounts are protected with two-factor sign-in and passkeys, a permanent activity log, private file storage and restricted patient details. Our privacy policy explains what personal information we collect and why.

Does AED Log support two-factor authentication?

Yes. Users can turn on an authenticator app, with 8 one-time recovery codes, or register passkeys such as Face ID, a fingerprint or a security key. Managers can require two-factor sign-in for the whole account.

Does AED Log support single sign-on (SSO)?

No. AED Log doesn't offer SAML or OIDC single sign-on. Sign-in is protected with two-factor authentication and passkeys, including passwordless sign-in with a passkey.

How is patient information in incident reports protected?

The patient section is limited to an age range, sex and notes. Only Account Owners and Administrators can see it, the server enforces that, and it is left out of the activity log.

How are document downloads protected?

Files are kept in private storage. Each download uses a link that expires after a short time, so a forwarded link stops working.

Can I limit someone to certain locations?

Yes. Restrict any user to specific sites and their dashboard, lists, calendar, alerts and reports all follow. At least one user always keeps access to every location.
