Disclosure: AED Log wrote this guide, and AED Log is one of the products in it. Every other product is described only with facts from its maker’s own pages, checked on October 12, 2026 and linked under Sources.

The short answer

The best AED program management software depends on what you need. AED Log suits programs that want published flat pricing, more equipment types or a white-label platform. ZOLL PlusTrac and Stryker’s LifeLinkcentral suit fleets of their own connected AEDs. Arch, AED Total Solution and AED365 Pro bundle medical direction.

Key takeaways

  • Published prices: AED Log (flat tiers from $114 a year), AED365 and AED Total Solution (per AED), and Avive RealConnect ($199 per AED after the first year).
  • Quote only: ZOLL PlusTrac, Arch, Stryker’s LifeLinkcentral and Cintas’s LifeReady 360.
  • Medical direction bundled: Arch, AED Total Solution and cpr1, AED365 Pro and LifeReady 360; an add-on at AED Log.
  • ZOLL, Stryker and Avive remotely monitor their own connected AEDs; AED Log links AED Sentinel remote monitors.
  • Free trials: PlusTrac (60 days), AED365 (45 days) and AED Log (45 days, no credit card).

AED program management software compared at a glance

The tools split into two groups: software you run yourself (AED Log, PlusTrac, AED365, LifeLinkcentral, RealConnect, a spreadsheet) and services that bundle software with medical direction, registration and supplies (Arch, AED Total Solution and cpr1, LifeReady 360). Prices are published for only some of them.

The right choice depends on three questions. Do you need medical direction, and in every state you operate in? Do your AEDs come from one manufacturer with its own connected platform? And do you manage only AEDs, or fire extinguishers, first aid and eyewash stations too?

AED Log

AED Log is AED program management software for organizations, and a white-label platform for the distributors who sell and service AEDs. It tracks AEDs of any brand and eight more kinds of safety equipment, for a published flat price per tier of AEDs.

Who it is for

Organizations that manage their own AED program, from one AED to hundreds across many locations, especially those that also look after fire extinguishers, first aid or eyewash stations. And AED dealers and service companies that want to offer AED management under their own brand.

Pricing model

Published flat tiers: $114 a year for 1 AED, $660 for 6 to 10 and $3,000 for 41 to 60, with unlimited users and locations. Other equipment types are add-ons per unit, and Medical Direction is $65 per AED per year. See pricing.

Brands supported

Any. A catalog of 8 brands and 27 models fills in pad and battery shelf lives, and any other AED is added by name.

Standout features

  • Monthly inspection checklists on any phone, started from the AED’s QR label, with a corrective action when a check fails.
  • Pad and battery dates filled in from a catalog of 78 parts, with alerts by email or in Slack, Microsoft Teams and Discord.
  • CPR and AED certification tracking from 185 courses, plus a compliance calendar and PDF and CSV reports.
  • FDA AED recalls checked weekly, matched to your AEDs and reviewed by a person, and AED Sentinel remote monitors linked to their AEDs.
  • A full white-label platform for resellers: their name, logo, domain, prices and billing.

Limits

It runs in the browser rather than as a native app, alerts don’t go by text message, medical direction is an add-on rather than included, and existing records are imported by our team from CSV templates rather than self-serve. AED Log doesn’t sell supplies or lend AEDs.

ZOLL PlusTrac

PlusTrac is ZOLL’s web-based AED program management software, for programs from 1 AED to 1,000. It manages AEDs of any brand, and connected ZOLL AEDs report to it on their own.

Who it is for

Organizations with ZOLL AEDs, or that want ZOLL’s on-site service and training alongside the software.

Pricing model

Not published. ZOLL’s pages offer a 60-day trial and a demo request. ZOLL’s PlusCare service includes PlusTrac with each license, with annual maintenance and post-event support.

Brands supported

Any brand, per ZOLL’s brochure. Remote self-reporting works with Wi-Fi-connected ZOLL AED 3 units and Powerheart G5 units with a Rescue Ready Monitor.

Standout features

  • A 12-point AED compliance check and a compliance dashboard.
  • A state AED law library.
  • The CheckAED app for iOS and Android, with QR scanning.
  • Alerts for expiring pads and batteries, certification renewals and manufacturer recalls.
  • Medical oversight, AED prescriptions and EMS agency notification, per ZOLL’s brochure.

Limits

No published price. ZOLL’s pages don’t describe tracking equipment other than AEDs, or a white-label version for distributors.

AED365

AED365 is an iOS app and web portal for AED program management, sold per AED in two published plans. Its Pro plan adds medical direction, prescriptions, loaner AEDs and free pads after a use.

Who it is for

Workplaces that want a simple per-AED plan, and medical direction bundled in on the Pro plan.

Pricing model

Published per AED: Basic $114 and Pro $150 for one year, with multi-year prices up to $510 for five years of Pro. AED365 invites buyers of 10 or more subscriptions to ask about special pricing.

Brands supported

Not stated on its site.

Standout features

  • QR inspections it says take under 60 seconds.
  • iOS push notifications and email.
  • Unlimited users and locations.
  • On Pro, free pads after an attempted save, up to twice per AED per year.
  • A 45-day free trial, and $1 of every plan donated to a charity that places AEDs.

Limits

Its site names only an iOS app, doesn’t list supported AED brands or other equipment, and its reseller page offers a contact form without program details.

Arch (Online Oversight)

Arch, from Annuvia and run on onlineoversight.com, combines AED medical direction, registration with 911 centers and EMS, and program management. Annuvia became part of Cardio Partners, a Sarnova company, in 2021.

Who it is for

AED owners who want medical direction and EMS registration handled for them, distributors who want to resell it, and public safety agencies, which use it free.

Pricing model

Not published for AED owners or distributors. Free for public safety agencies.

Brands supported

Arch describes programs of mixed makes and models but publishes no brand list.

Standout features

  • A national team of AED medical directors, with a physician assigned to each program.
  • AED registration with 911 centers and EMS agencies; Arch says it works with more than 6,500 PSAPs.
  • After a use: a same-model loaner AED by next-day air, ECG review and replacement pads.
  • An integrated store that cross-references upcoming expirations.
  • Readiness checks by replying to a text message, and drag-and-drop reports with CSV export.

Limits

No published price and no free trial listed. Arch’s pages describe tracking AEDs and their supplies only, and distributor sites are co-branded rather than fully white-labeled.

AED Total Solution

AED Total Solution is a full-service AED program company in Oceanside, California, whose per-AED plans bundle software with physician oversight, registration and post-event support, and optionally every replacement pad and battery.

Who it is for

Businesses and home AED owners that want the program done for them, paid per AED.

Pricing model

Published per AED: Standard $109 a year for any listed model, or Standard + Supplies from $204 a year depending on the model. Three- and five-year terms are discounted. No charge per user or location.

Brands supported

12 listed models from 6 brands: Cardiac Science, Defibtech, HeartSine, LIFEPAK, Philips and ZOLL, with a custom quote for others.

Standout features

  • Physician medical oversight and an AED prescription in both plans.
  • Automatic pad and battery replacement on the Supplies plan.
  • Post-event data download, physician review and a loaner AED.
  • The Response Ready app for iOS and Android, with email and push alerts.
  • A partner program with the partner’s own branded URL and back-end portal.

Limits

No free trial listed. Fire extinguisher and first aid kit tracking are offered on request rather than described, and AEDs outside its 12 listed models need a custom quote.

LifeLinkcentral (Stryker)

Pricing model

Not published. A Basic license comes with each Stryker connected AED; the PRO license is an annual fee per account; the Premium package is an annual fee per AED, per Stryker’s brochure and PRO flyer.

Brands supported

Any brand, per Stryker’s product page. Remote monitoring is for Stryker AEDs; other AEDs are uploaded by Stryker support, and an upload fee applies.

Standout features

  • Remote readiness monitoring of connected Stryker AEDs.
  • A map view and location-change detection for the LIFEPAK CR2, and alerts when an AED is in use.
  • A readiness wheel for equipment and site status (PRO).
  • Fire extinguisher and medical kit tracking (PRO).
  • On Premium, a dedicated AED program administrator, quarterly compliance audits and medical direction (US only).

Limits

No published price. Notifications are by email, Basic doesn’t include manual inspections, and medical direction comes only with the Premium package. Stryker’s brochure dates from 2020 and its PRO flyer from 2022.

Avive RealConnect

REALConnect is Avive’s cloud service for its Wi-Fi, cellular and GPS-connected Avive Connect AED: daily remote monitoring, location tracking, alerts and remote software updates.

Brands supported

Avive’s pages describe it only for Avive Connect AEDs.

Standout features

  • Integration with 911 call centers, which Avive calls a first for an AED.
  • Daily remote health monitoring, which Avive says ends manual checks.
  • Lost Mode, remote settings and remote software updates.
  • Text or email alerts when an AED is in use or needs attention.
  • One free pad cartridge per AED per year, on use or expiry, with an active subscription.

Limits

Avive’s pages describe it for Avive AEDs only and mention no mobile app. Medical direction is listed as a service without details.

LifeReady 360

LifeReady 360 is Cintas’s online AED tracking and medical direction portal, offered with Cintas AED service agreements in which a Cintas professional visits to check the AEDs.

Who it is for

Businesses that want Cintas to supply and service their AEDs in person, including multi-state and national programs.

Pricing model

Not published. Cintas sells AED service packages as 36-month agreements at a fixed monthly cost, with discounts for multiple units. Access to LifeReady 360 is purchased separately from the base AED program.

Brands supported

Not stated for the portal. Cintas sells and services Avive Connect, ZOLL AED 3, ZOLL AED Plus, Powerheart G5 and Defibtech Lifeline AEDs.

Standout features

  • In-person inspections by a Cintas professional.
  • Medical direction, tracking software, EMS registration and post-event support.
  • A dedicated implementation team for national programs.
  • 24-hour customer service and technical support.

Limits

Cintas’s pages don’t describe the portal’s app, alerts or supported brands, and its terms put reporting AED faults between visits on the customer.

cpr1

cpr1 is a CPR, AED and first aid training company in Oceanside, California, and its AED program management is the AED Total Solution program: the AED Total Solution app’s sign-in page says it comes from CPR1.

Who it is for

Pricing model

cpr1’s store lists AED Total Solution at $109.00. See AED Total Solution above for its plans.

Brands supported

cpr1’s store sells Philips, LIFEPAK, ZOLL, Cardiac Science, Defibtech and HeartSine AEDs.

  • AED rentals from $45 a month on a four-year term, with program management included.
  • An iOS and Android app with barcode scanning and push reminders.
  • Medical direction included.

Limits

The same program and limits as AED Total Solution. cpr1 offers a demo rather than a free trial.

Spreadsheets

A spreadsheet in Excel or Google Sheets is the free option: it stores AED dates and inspection records, but it can’t remind anyone or record who did what on its own.

Who it is for

One or two AEDs at one site, with one careful owner who checks the sheet every month.

Pricing model

Free, but someone’s time keeps it current, and that grows with every AED.

Brands supported

Any, typed by hand.

Standout features

Limits

No reminders, no alerts when a check fails, dates typed by hand, and no record of who changed what.

How we chose and checked these tools

We included the tools US organizations most often look at when they search for AED program management software, and we took every fact about them from the maker’s own website, PDFs or app listing, checked on October 12, 2026.

  • Primary sources only. Each fact comes from the company’s own pages, which are linked under Sources. Third-party reviews and resellers’ listings weren’t used.
  • Left out when unconfirmed. A price or claim we saw only in search results, or couldn’t load on the company’s own site, isn’t on this page.
  • Dated. Prices and features change. Everything here was checked on October 12, 2026, and we update the page when we recheck.
  • Same questions for each. Who it’s for, how it’s priced, which AEDs it supports, what stands out and what it doesn’t do.
  • Not every tool. This list covers the tools we could verify, not every AED product on the market.

AED Log wrote this page, and AED Log is listed first because it’s ours. If anything about another product is out of date, tell us and we’ll correct it. See also what AED program management involves.

Best AED program management software FAQ

What is the best AED program management software?

It depends on your program. For flat published pricing, more equipment types or a white-label platform, AED Log. For connected ZOLL, Stryker or Avive AEDs, their makers’ platforms. For bundled medical direction, Arch, AED Total Solution or AED365 Pro.

How much does AED program management software cost?

Where prices are published, per-AED plans start at $109 a year and rise with what they bundle, such as medical direction or supplies. AED Log charges a flat price per tier instead: $114 a year for 1 AED and $660 for 6 to 10.

Which AED management software includes medical direction?

Arch, AED Total Solution, AED365 Pro and Cintas’s LifeReady 360 include it, and ZOLL and Stryker offer it with PlusTrac and LifeLinkcentral Premium. AED Log sells it as an add-on at $65 per AED per year.

Which AED software can distributors white-label?

AED Log runs under the distributor’s own name, logo and domain. AED Total Solution offers partners their own branded URL, and Arch offers co-branded distributor sites that keep the Arch name.

Is there free AED tracking software?

A spreadsheet in Excel or Google Sheets is the free option, though it won’t remind anyone. AED Log isn’t free: plans start at $114 a year, with reminders, inspection records and reports included.
