Where AED Total Solution is strong
AED Total Solution is strong as a full-service provider: medical oversight, registration, post-event support and, on one plan, every replacement pad and battery, from a company that also sells, rents and trains on AEDs.
- Medical oversight in every plan. Both plans include physician medical oversight, direction and an AED prescription, which it says is renewed every year.
- Supplies included. On Standard + Supplies, pads and batteries are replaced at no cost when they expire or are used, and shipped to the AED’s location.
- Post-event services. Data download, physician review and a loaner AED after a use.
- A dedicated specialist, written policies, state and local registration and liability consultation, all listed in both plans.
- Rentals and training. AED rentals start at $45 a month on a four-year term with program management included, and its app sign-in says it comes from CPR1, a CPR, AED and first aid training company.
- A distributor program. Partners get their own branded URL, a portal with their name and logo, and a back-end portal to monitor clients.
If you want one company to handle the paperwork, the physician and the supplies, and you’d rather pay per AED for that, AED Total Solution is built for it.
Where AED Log is strong
AED Log is strong when you run the program yourself or for many customers: flat tier pricing that grows slowly with AED count, every kind of safety equipment, chat alerts, and medical direction only where your state requires it.
- Lower software cost at scale. One flat price covers every AED in your tier: $660 a year for 6 to 10 AEDs and $3,000 for 41 to 60. See pricing.
- Medical direction only where it’s required. The AED law data in AED Log lists 9 states that require physician medical direction. Add Medical Direction to the AEDs that need it, rather than to every unit.
- More than AEDs, built in. Fire extinguishers, first aid cabinets, eyewash stations, Narcan, EpiPens, Stop the Bleed kits, emergency oxygen and vehicles, each with its own checklist and dates. See equipment types.
- Alerts in chat. Slack, Microsoft Teams and Discord, as well as email right away or in a digest.
- Any AED, by name. A catalog of 8 brands and 27 models, and any other AED added by name, with no quote needed.
- A full white-label platform. Resellers set their own prices, run their own billing, brand every email and PDF, and manage customers from a reseller console. See the reseller program.
AED Log doesn’t ship replacement pads and batteries or provide a loaner AED: it tracks every date and warns you before each one is due.
Pricing compared at 1, 10 and 50 AEDs
At 1 AED, AED Total Solution’s Standard plan costs less than AED Log; at 10 and 50 AEDs, AED Log’s flat tiers cost less. With Medical Direction added to every AED, AED Log costs more at all three, because Standard bundles medical oversight into its $109 per-AED price.
| AEDs | AED Log | AED Log + Medical Direction | AED Total Solution Standard | AED Total Solution Standard + Supplies |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $114 | $179 | $109 | From $204 |
| 10 | $660 | $1,310 | $1,090 | From $2,040 |
| 50 | $3,000 | $6,250 | $5,450 | From $10,200 |
The plans include different things. AED Total Solution’s Standard plan includes medical oversight, registration and a post-event loaner; its Supplies plan adds every replacement pad and battery. AED Log’s price is the software, with Medical Direction as an add-on and parts bought separately, so compare it with what you would pay for pads, batteries and oversight elsewhere. AED Total Solution also lists three-year ($277.95) and five-year ($436) Standard plans per AED.
If your state doesn’t require medical direction, compare the first and fourth columns. If it does, compare the second and fourth.

- Fill in our CSV templates, and our team imports your locations, AEDs and responders.
- Upload documents, such as your AED prescriptions and policies, to the document library with their expiration dates.
- Print QR labels and run your next monthly inspection in AED Log.
