Where AED365 is strong

AED365 is strong on bundled services: its Pro plan includes medical direction, prescriptions, loaner AEDs and free pads after a rescue attempt, and it offers a 24x7 phone help desk.

  • Pro bundles the services. AED365 says Pro includes everything in Basic plus medical direction, prescriptions and loaner AEDs, and its medical direction team is led by a board-certified emergency medicine physician.
  • Free pads after a use. On Pro, pads are replaced free when a covered AED is used in an attempted save, up to twice per AED per year.
  • Quick inspections. It advertises verified inspections by QR code in under 60 seconds, with iOS push notifications and emails.
  • Support and service. In-app chat, a 24x7 phone help desk, and in-person inspections by AED365 inspectors for an extra fee.
  • A donation. AED365 says $1 of every plan is donated to a charity that places AEDs.

For a single AED where you want medical direction and post-use support in one plan, AED365 Pro is a straightforward package.

Where AED Log is strong

AED Log is strong once you have more than a few AEDs or more than AEDs to look after: flat tier pricing, eight more equipment types, chat alerts, and a white-label version for distributors.

  • Flat pricing per tier. Every AED in your tier costs the same flat price, so 10 AEDs cost $660 a year and 50 cost $3,000. See pricing.
  • Medical direction only where you need it. Add it per AED, for example in the 9 states whose AED law requires physician medical direction, instead of paying for it on every unit. See Medical Direction.
  • More than AEDs. Fire extinguishers, first aid cabinets, eyewash stations, Narcan, EpiPens, Stop the Bleed kits, emergency oxygen and vehicles. See equipment types.
  • Alerts in chat. Slack, Microsoft Teams and Discord, as well as email right away or in a digest.
  • Any device. AED Log runs in the browser on iPhone, Android, tablets and computers, with QR labels for each unit.
  • White-label for distributors. Dealers can run AED Log under their own brand and domain. See the reseller program.
