About
About AED Log
AED Log is AED program management software for organizations and a white-label platform for AED resellers. It was founded in Chicago in April 2017 by Kyle Nowack and Brian Story, and it keeps AED programs of every size inspected, in date and ready.
45 days free. No credit card required. Then plans from $114 a year.
What AED Log does
AED Log tracks everything an AED program has to keep up with: inspections, pad and battery expirations, CPR and AED certifications, incidents and documents, with alerts before anything lapses.
It also covers eight more kinds of life-safety equipment, from fire extinguishers to eyewash stations. Organizations use it directly, and AED distributors and service companies run the same platform under their own brand for their customers.
Who founded AED Log
AED Log was founded in April 2017 by Kyle Nowack and Brian Story, who still run it from Chicago.
Kyle Nowack
Co-founder
American Red Cross Basic Life Support Instructor Trainer, American Heart Association Basic Life Support Instructor and former Lifeguard Instructor Trainer. Certified since 2004. Writes and reviews AED Log's guides and state AED law pages.
Brian Story
Co-founder
A former lifeguard and a software developer with more than 20 years of development experience.
Our sister company, Total AEDs
Total AEDs is AED Log's sister company and online store, run by the same team, supplying AEDs, replacement pads and batteries, cabinets, signage and rescue kits.
AED program management has two halves: AED Log tracks what you own and when each item expires, and Total AEDs supplies the parts those dates call for. Sharing one team means the models, part numbers and shelf lives built into AED Log are kept up by people who handle the hardware every day.
You never have to buy equipment from Total AEDs to use AED Log. It works with every major AED brand, wherever your AEDs and supplies came from.
What we value
Four values guide how we build AED Log and how we treat the people who use it.
Integrity
We say what the software does and what it doesn't, and we publish our prices.
Innovation
New equipment types, integrations and reports come from what AED programs ask us for.
Excellence
An AED that isn't ready can cost a life, so every reminder and record has to be right.
Collaboration
We work with schools, businesses and AED providers to make their programs simpler to run.
